Travel * Voices * Who We Are
These trips are serendipitous jaunts in our world.
We recognize that time, speed, and distance are never the same in all places.
From bicycling we know that the first mile of the day is not the same as the last mile of the day.
And these images and story bear this out.
One kilometer along a high ridge Oregon is not the same as
one last km to the B&B at 8 pm
in dark northern England.
Trips are very much about seeing what is where one is.
It is a sampling of what was available. Listening is also a prime ingredient. That does not suggest we we are empty vessels as we do bring much baggage and attitude to what is before us.
May we all always be
awake & aware.

Always following the Rule:
A mile at the beginning of the day is not as long as the mile at the end of the day.
