I was born in El Salvador. I traveled or I was traveled between there and Illinois some 12 times by the time I was 5 years old. From that last deposit in Illinois, I resided only in the United States with some European travels. I returned to El Salvador in 2002 (last visit: 1955). To my surprise my present home, Oregon, has many features of vulcanism similar to the birth place of nine volcanoes running through the middle of my birthplace. It was comfortable and surprising. The emotional connections were strong and run deep unearthing some surprise hidden rememberances as a child.
